Dr Clare Slaney
Dr Clare Slaney is a senior research officer at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She received her PhD in T cell immunology at the Malaghan Institute in New Zealand in 2010. Her current work focuses on developing novel immunotherapies against cancer, including using chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells and other novel immunomodulatory reagents. Clare has published more than 20 papers with first and last authored papers in high impact journals such as Nature Medicine, Cancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research and Oncotarget.
